Sports Massage with Paula is a sole trader massage therapist based in Llandudno Junction, UK. 

I am the data controller of your personal information.

I may collect and process the following personal data: 

• Name, phone number, email address, and emergency contact details 

• Relevant health information for safe treatment (e.g. medical conditions, injuries, medications) 

• Appointment history and treatment notes 

All bookings are made via Fresha, which processes your booking and payment details according to its own privacy policy. I do not store or process payment information. 

Health information is classified as special category data and is handled with strict confidentiality. 

2. How Your Information is Used

Your information is used to:

• Provide safe and appropriate massage treatments

• Manage appointments

• Meet legal, insurance and professional requirements

• Send marketing communications (only if you opt in)

I do not sell your personal data.

3. Legal Basis for processing

I process your data under the following lawful bases in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018: 

• Contract – to provide the massage services you have booked 

• Legal obligation – to meet tax, insurance, and professional requirements

4. Data Sharing

Your information is only shared when necessary, for example: 

• With Fresha for booking management 

• With my accountant (financial records only) 

• With insurers (if required for claims)

Client records are stored securely (locked physical files or password-protected digital systems). Records are kept only as long as necessary for legal, insurance, and professional purposes, after which they are securely destroyed.
